Wild meadow Camping

Wild meadow camping, at the centre of our family farm.

Grass pitches in meadows make up the campsite around our farm. The peaceful and informal site has no allocated pitches.

A small site in a large area with up to 30 pitches.

Large spacious shower block and kitchen with ample hot water, sinks, a kettle microwave and freezer.

We are the first site in the north to have individual wet rooms with underfloor heating.

Our unique outdoor shower experience is very popular in July & August.

Park in the yard, grab a wheelbarrow and take a wander around the 4 acre wildflower meadow to choose your pitch.

We work harmoniously with nature on our land. Crake Trees Manor is a regenerative farm and we work hard to create a beautiful place, rich in wildlife.

Camping here is soothing for the mind and visitors often speak of how much space there is and how our farm is so calming.

The informal grass site is surrounded by wildlife. Listen to the waving grasses hum and rattle of grasshoppers, whilst ghostly moths flit around peacefully.

Our campsite is set in the Westmorland Dales National Park, is part of The Yorkshire Dales National Park and just south of Cumbria, making it an ideal place to explore the wild north. The Pennine hills stretch out to the east of the campsite.

We have a limited supply of fire pits to hire and great for relaxing around as the sun sinks and stars appear.

Fire Pit starter kit, £15  which includes the Fire Pit. Order before arrival for collection at the community kitchen.

One Dog is welcome to share your tent. It must be on a lead at all times while on our farm. All waste must be cleaned up and disposed of in our rubbish bins.
