We have been welcoming visitors to Crake Trees Manor for many years.
After 18 years of hospitality, the guest rooms have major renovations, completed in 2018. All rooms have ensuite showers and bathrooms, carpets and electrics. We have 5 rooms:
Two ground floor Courtyard bedrooms, Maud and Demesne have private sunny courtyards, great for visitors travelling with their dog.
Howebeck and Mickelbank bedrooms are adjacent to each other in the farmhouse, just right for friends or family.
Howebeck and Peasland suite each have a private balcony, where sunny evenings and the wonderful views over the farm to the Pennines can really be appreciated.
Our warm lounge has a wood stove. Breakfast is eaten together round the enormous Oak dining table, or maybe have breakfast in your room. In summer take a tray out to the courtyard, to really enjoy the views that seem to go forever.
Maulds Meaburn village Brew House has recently been converted into a unique and very quirky self-catering cottage. A perfect retreat for 2 people plus 1 dog or a baby.
Right at the centre of the village looking out onto the village green… (where sheep graze in summer), and the lovely river Lyvennet.
The Brew House has full electric heating with a Wood Stove in the lounge , handbuilt kitchen, large warm wet room, conservatory dining looking out to the village and a cosy bedroom with views over the green to the river. A sun filled courtyard to laze in. Or explore right from the door the miles of quiet country roads of The Westmorland Dales National Park.
Glamourous Camping, or Glamping cannot get much better, right in the heart of the Westmorland Dales National Park.
Totally ‘Off-Grid’ The Shepherds Huts at Crake Trees Manor are lit by candles, have super comfy handbuilt double bed and are kept beautifully warm with a Wood Stove. Perfect to enjoy the wonderful Dark Skies of The Westmorland Dales National Park.
The Shepherds Huts sit peacefully in a field close to the old Manor house and from Easter will have brand new heated showers, toilets and stable kitchen in our converted Stable block.

Our Wood Fired Hot Tub hidden within the gothic ruins of a twelfth century manor house.
Imagine sitting back in a steaming wood fired hot tub, the night sky lit up with stars or a tiny new moon, with the crackle of a log fire gently keeping the water warm and inviting. The view from the tub is unique…looking right down over the farm to the Lyvennet valley and the Pennines beyond.
