Covid-19 Update – the beginning of July 2020
I have rarely seen the countryside around Crake Trees Manor look so beautiful.
A late spring, lots of warm sunshine and a thankful drop of rain has given us a riot of colour and fresh growth
The hedges a blaze of colourful grasses and herbs, with so many wild flowers, I cannot even name them all!
Our fields are full of Pheasant couples with chicks, mother Hares, ground nesting Peewit,Curlew & Snipe, with low flying Owls around dusk.
We also have a couple small Roe Deer with their fawns that have ventured down into the horse garth.
So long as people walking the footpaths keep their dogs on a lead and wear gloves, we welcome them to enjoy our space and fresh air.
